Halftone Maker

Original patterns and generated outputs

To the extent the operator holds rights in Halftone Maker's original patterns and generated outputs, the operator grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use, copy, modify, distribute, and incorporate those patterns and outputs into personal and commercial work. Attribution to Halftone Maker is appreciated but is not required.

This permission covers the operator's contribution to downloadable original pattern assets and artwork generated with the tools. It does not grant ownership or exclusive rights, and does not license the application's source code, branding, or third-party material.

User uploads and other people's rights

User-uploaded images, SVG artwork, logos, text, and other source material are excluded from this grant. You retain your existing rights in your uploads and must obtain any permissions needed to process, publish, or sell material derived from them. The operator cannot grant rights it does not hold.

Fonts have separate licenses

Bundled and imported fonts remain subject to their own licenses, including any restrictions on embedding, redistribution, or commercial use. Converting text to outlines does not remove font-license obligations. Check the license accompanying each font before distributing an output or a font file.

Export formats

These permissions apply to the supported pattern assets and generated exports, such as PNG and SVG. The site does not supply Photoshop PAT pattern files or ATN action files. You can follow the Photoshop instructions to use supported exports in your own workflow.
